World Humanitarian Day 2024

World Humanitarian Day (WHD) is a campaign led by the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA). Each year, WHD focuses on a theme, bringing together partners from across the humanitarian system to advocate for the survival, well-being, and dignity of people affected by crises and for the safety and security of aid workers. The client (BHA) emphasizes key figures and facts regarding the safety of humanitarian aid workers, who face daily risks while providing life-saving assistance.

I led the creative team through this year's campaign and collaborated with various teams to gather information. We established a brand motif that sets the stage for the accompanying graphics. We created a “ticker” displaying the number of aid workers who had been victims of violence. Additionally, we developed a series of social media pictograms featuring facts and images.
